Chorale Mélopée

Mélopée Girls' Choir

For the 17th edition of the Concert des Cœurs, we are delighted to welcome the Mélopée Girls' Choir.

Founded in 2011, Mélopée brings together girls aged 5 to 18 who share a common passion: the joy of singing together.

The choir is under the artistic direction of Romain Verbeeren and accompanied on the piano by Charly Delbecq.

Over the years, Mélopée has become much more than a choir: it is a true school of choral singing and personal development, where musicality, sensitivity and team spirit are nurtured.

Open to a wide variety of musical styles, Mélopée enthusiastically explores polyphonic music in all its forms: classical music, world music, film music and contemporary repertoire. Both in rehearsals and on stage, particular attention is paid to vocal unity and refined musical expression.

The choir performs several times each year in Belgium and abroad. It collaborates with other ensembles, has recorded several albums and takes part in major concerts while fostering a strong sense of community among its members.
