Action Parkinson offers adapted physical activities (gymnastics, dance, tango, boxing, Qi Gong, walking, etc.), discussion groups, well-being and cognitive workshops, as well as information sessions and support for people living with Parkinson’s disease and their relatives.

Telephone helpline: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Store: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (open throughout lunchtime)

• Various handyman services (minor masonry, carpentry, etc.)

Office hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

• Moving services (17 m³ truck or 7 m³ van), furniture dismantling and assembly

From Monday, 13 October 2025, the collection point will be open every weekday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Services offered

• Painting and wallpapering/removal of wallpaper
• Minor repairs in plumbing, electricity, and carpentry
• Moving and transport services with an 11 m³ van (transport only, no loading or handling)
• Collection point for furniture, household appliances, clothing, and kitchenware (second-hand items). Donations can be dropped off on-site on Tuesday mornings between 9:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m., or by appointment.
• The collection point is open to beneficiaries on Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Furniture refurbishment and upcycling

Telephone office hours from Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The Nivelles (or Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve or Rixensart) branch can put you in touch with a volunteer neighbour for weekly meetups (a walk in the neighbourhood, a chat over coffee, a cultural outing, board games, etc.).

Regular group activities are also organized to create and strengthen social connections (afternoon teas, events, and other gatherings).

A non-medical day centre for people aged 60 and over. It provides a welcoming environment that feels “just like home,” where a variety of activities and projects are organized in connection with the local community, bringing together people of all generations through an inclusive approach.
