Action Parkinson provides a variety of services aimed at enhancing the well-being and quality of life of people affected by Parkinson’s disease and those around them.
Services offered
- Adapted physical activities and workshops, including Nordic walking, boxing, gymnastics (GymSANA), dance (Care to Dance, tango), Qi Gong, Power Moves, and more.
- Discussion groups, themed meetings, conferences, and sharing sessions where patients and relatives can exchange experiences and information.
- Art therapy workshops, cognitive games, expression and memory activities.
- A lending library, documentation, and practical information sheets covering Parkinson’s disease, available support services, independent living, and related topics.
- Expert-led conferences to help participants better understand the disease and its treatments.
- Individual appointments providing more personalised support.
- Excursions, trips, and social outings designed to strengthen social connections and collective well-being.
Activities are open to all members. Annual membership costs €20. Some activities are free of charge, while others are available for €7 per hour.
